Thomas Dreikauss (*1964) is the CEO and a shareholder of Sematell. He joined the company as Vice President Sales in 2009 and assumed management of Sematell in 2012. In addition, he has been one of the company’s shareholders since 2016. As an absolute expert in the sector, he draws on more than 20 years of experience in managing IT companies and in the sale of complex corporate software solutions - with start-ups as well as with major corporations.

Jochen Bedersdorfer is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Sematell. The computational linguist had launched his career at the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Saarbrücken. He played a pivotal role in the development of Mailminder, an early version of today’s response management solution ReplyOne. Before he joined Sematell, he had worked 10 years for Silicon Valley based companies, e.g. Saffron Technologies and later Intel and was highly involved in the Silicon Valley start-up community with the dominant technical issues of Artificial Intelligence and blockchain.

Carsten Fiegler

Sr. Vice President Sales & Business Development


Carsten Fiegler has been with the company since 2004. In his current role as Senior Vice President Sales and Business Development, he is responsible for the entire area of sales, new markets and strategic partnerships in the DACH region. Along with his training as an insurance expert, the sales professional commands in-depth knowledge of the IT industry and, before joining Sematell, worked for Oracle and Veritas Software, among other companies.

Jörg Lenz

Director Development


As Development Director, Jörg Lenz is responsible for product development at Sematell. The IT specialist has been part of the company since 2001 and has extensive expertise in all aspects of software development.

Torsten Göbel

Director Quality Assurance & Customer Care


Torsten Göbel heads up quality assurance and customer care in the role of Director. The specialist in business informatics has worked for Sematell since 2014. Prior to joining the company he gathered valuable experience in various managerial positions at AOL and TÜV Rheinland.

Johannes Linke

Director Professional Services


As Professional Services Director, Johannes Linke has been responsible for the successful implementation of customer projects since 2016. The software technology expert joined Sematell in 2006 and quickly assumed responsibility in support and as a project manager. 


Angela Dürrmann

Finance & HR


Angela Dürrmann heads up the areas of Finance, Controlling and HR. As an experienced expert in managing IT companies, she has been in the service of the company since 2003 and became a member of the management team in 2012.


Dietmar Lustig

Marketing Manager


Dietmar Lustig is in charge of marketing at Sematell. The qualified engineer and graphic designer has been responsible for all advertising measures, events and corporate design since the company was founded.
